Our client is looking for an HR Officer to join their team.
Position Info
- Manage and monitor IR processes, some experience of a unionised environment advantageous
- Recruitment, must have done the full salaried recruitment function
- HR Admin, contracts, new hire documentation, benefits and terminations etc
- Induction and on boarding of new staff including managing probation and performance review processes with line
- Coordinating toolbox talks and info sessions with departments
- Provide support and coaching to managers for performance improvement and team development
- Enjoys working in a manufacturing environment and dealing with robust people
- Completing weekly and monthly HR/EE/Disciplinary and other reports
- Co-ordinating all relevant celebration days and employee events
- Coordinating all CSI and wellness initiatives in partnership with Wellness team
- Assisting with EE and other legislative reports, meeting, and HR functions
- Managing of receptionist and reception area
Qualifications / Requirements
- An HR or Psychology Degree or essential, Honours is advantageous
- Excellent Excel and Word skills (intermediate to advanced level)
- 2 – 5 years HR officer/HRBP experience, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
- Own transport, and flexibility if required to work late, or travel to other plants off site when needed (not often)
- Ability to handle pressure calmly and professionally
- Excellent English communication skills
- Extremely organised and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Resilient and able to assert themselves when needed
- Passion for people and processes
- Salaried end to end Recruitment experience is essential in this position
- Experience in setting up and coordinating of events is advantageous
