Red Cat Recruitment is seeking an experienced laser operator for a well-established company based in Pinetown, Kwa Zulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification required
• Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet)
• English and isi Zulu speaking skills
• The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspection of laser machine and start-up
• Tape shot operation
• Nozzle size knowledge and inspection
• Job card completion and programming
• First-off completion with team leader or supervisor
• Programming full sheet cutting and offcut programs
• Monitoring cutting and OK / NG cutting knowledge
• Loading second bed while first bed is cutting
• Continuing next program when complete
• Assisting in offloading parts as per drawing onto pallet
• Verifying parts according to job card and drawing
• Sign-off of job card and sending parts to press brake
• Maintaining 5 S in workstation and general housekeeping
• Adhering to Health and Safety procedures
