Job summary

A premier recruitment agency is looking for a Head of Reinsurance Accounting in Rosebank. In this role, you will oversee the entire Reinsurance Accounting process, including reporting, analysis, and strategy implementation. You will manage a team, ensure compliance with financial targets up to R1 billion, and liaise with key external and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in insurance, with sufficient exposure to reinsurance, and will preferably hold a CA (SA).

Qualifications

• 10 years’ experience in Insurance with 5 years in Reinsurance.
• Lead a team and manage performance cycles.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual Reinsurance reporting and analysis.
• Design and implement system solutions for Reinsurance agreements.
• Ensure all Reinsurance claims are accounted for.
