Job description

Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Business Development to join our client in the solar energy sector. As the Head of Business Development, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation in the renewable energy industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy for the solar industry
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including project development, partnerships, and acquisitions
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers
  4. Lead negotiations and close deals with new clients and partners
  5. Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape
  6. Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and other stakeholders
  7. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project implementation and delivery
  8. Monitor and report on business development activities and performance

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
  2. 5 years proven track record in business development within the solar industry (non-negotiable)
  3. Strong knowledge of solar technologies, products, and market trends
  4. Experience in project development, including feasibility assessments, financial modeling, and risk analysis
  5. Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  6. Strategic thinking and analytical abilities
  7. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers
  8. Self-motivated and results-oriented
  9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  11. Willingness to travel as required
