Job Description

The Construction Director will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities across multiple sites, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage large, complex construction programmes from planning through to handover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all construction activities across multiple project sites
  • Oversight of planning, scheduling, resourcing, and execution of projects
  • Evaluation of contractor and subcontractor performance
Minimum Requirements (Non-negotiable)
  • A postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as Construction Management or Project Management is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction or a related field implied as prerequisite to postgraduate studies.
  • Seven years minimum solid proven experience managing director-level responsibilities preferably managing large multi-million-rand projects.
  • This position also requires excellent communication skills, effective stakeholder management, problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution, highly organised, analytical, deadline‑driven leader with technical expertise in risk management, cost control, contract administration and tender processes. MS Project and MS Office proficiency necessary!
