The Role

As a Hardware Engineer, you will design and engineer electrical installations and control systems for major infrastructure and water‑related projects. This includes applications such as bridges, locks, pumping stations, wastewater treatment plants, drinking water facilities, and industrial installations.

Working closely with software engineers, lead engineers, CAD designers, and project managers, you will contribute to both new‑build and renovation projects. Your work will cover everything from basic and detailed engineering to ensuring successful implementation and supporting the full lifecycle of complex systems—ranging from simple machinery control to highly advanced, centrally controlled infrastructures and safety‑critical systems.

In this role, you will:

• Take ownership of basic and detailed engineering for electrical installations
• Collaborate frequently with clients, suppliers, and technical partners to ensure correct system functionality
• Provide internal and external technical advice and apply the latest engineering technologies
• Translate technical challenges into practical, executable engineering solutions
• Act as the technical point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle: from calculation and design to installation, commissioning, maintenance, and decommissioning
• (Senior positions) Lead other engineers and designers within the project and support the lead engineer in monitoring quality and progress

This is You

You have a strong technical foundation and enjoy working on meaningful engineering challenges in a collaborative environment.

You have:

• A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, or a related field
• For Medior/Senior roles: Experience independently designing hardware installations in sectors like infrastructure, water, industry, machine building, or crane systems
• Experience with engineering tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD, and cable calculation software
• A proactive and solution‑oriented mindset
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across project teams

Our Offer:

Salary ranges based on experience:

• Junior: €4.200 – €4.700 gross per month
• Medior/Senior: €5.200 – €5.700 gross per month
