Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience in handyman maintenance tasks.
• Valid SA driver's license.
• Basic training on electrical and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned, preventive, and emergency maintenance on equipment.
• Conduct evaluations and restorations on equipment malfunctions.
• Provide feedback on restoration status to management.

Job description

Overview

ROLE PURPOSE
To carry out timeous and quality planned, preventive and emergency maintenance on all specified equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in accordance with job cards (work orders) issued, as per Client and Company requirements
• Conduct investigations, evaluation and restorations on identified equipment malfunction
• Carry out minor repairs and service on all electrical equipment and appliances as per SLA
• Perform office movement related tasks, including but not limited to, installation of furniture; shop fitting, repair doors, locks, handles, windows; replace ceiling and carpet tiles; general paint work
• Carry out minor repairs and service on all plumbing related equipment as per SLA
• Carry out minor repairs and service on all Fast door and roller doors
• Carry out inspections and report back on all access control equipment and fire equipment
• Assist the Artisan with major repairs and services
• Provide constant feedback to the Facilities Manager/Service Manager/Building Manager /Commercial Coordinator on restoration status of operations
• Undertake other related duties and assignments as assigned from time to time

• N3 Technical (Electrical/Mechanical)

• 3yrs relevant experience in Handyman maintenance tasks
• Basic training on hand tools, electrical and mechanical equipment
