Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a Group Reporting & Operations Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation. This role offers exposure to senior management, special projects, and strategic decision-making, making it ideal for partially qualified CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA professionals looking to step into a high-impact, analytical role.

You will form part of a small, collaborative team responsible for delivering management information, reporting and insights, as well as supporting special projects across the business. The role offers variety, intellectual challenge and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement of processes, policies and operational efficiencies at group level.

Qualifications, skills & experience required:
  • Qualified or partially qualified CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA.
  • 2 - 5 years experience in a similar position and environment.
  • Prior exposure in the financial services, asset management, banking, trust or fund management company industry.
  • Strong data analysis skills and advanced Excel & MS Office proficiency
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a varied, project-driven environment
Key responsibilities:
  • Develop and compile reports for various business stakeholders, incorporating both financial and non-financial data.
  • Analyse and investigate unusual trends or anomalies to ensure accurate reflection of business performance.
  • Collaborate with divisional teams while balancing overall Group requirements.
  • Partner with MIS and IT teams to develop automated and efficient reporting solutions.
  • Ensure accuracy of financial and MIS data used in reporting.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for regulator visits and returns.
  • Support the development of management presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Summarise and present complex data in a clear, meaningful way to support decision-making.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests by collating and analysing information.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in processes, policies, and operational efficiencies.
