A financial services company in Gauteng seeks a Group Financial Manager with a BCom degree and extensive knowledge in financial accounting. The ideal candidate will manage the finance team and ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with IFRS standards. Responsibilities include monthly financial consolidations, creditor management, and reporting. The position offers a competitive CTC remuneration package including a provident fund and allowances.
Strong technical accounting Group Financial Manager with BCom and articles required for national role.
Monthly consolidation and review of financial results for multiple regions and divisions
Manage and oversee finance team
Monthly financial reporting meetings with all regional FMs
Group level reporting including flash reports with commentary, forecasts and submission, quarterly finance board report (IFRS)
Balance sheet recons
Cashflow management
Provisional and annual tax returns and tax calculations
Monthly ESG reporting and representation of the company in this regard
Fixed asset management
All financial statutories including VAT, payroll returns and submission
Review payroll third party payments
Manage training spend recons
Stats SA submission
BBBEE TMPS spend reporting
Oversee creditors function ensuring creditors paid timeously and within SLAs
Oversee debtors and billing function
Review supplier recons and 1st release on the bank
Fleet management and card administration including fuel and company cards
Annual insurance declaration, claims and insurance of assets
Approve purchase orders with spend and other company expenses
Financial policies and procedures
Sage system management
BCom Degree with articles / CA (SA)
Strong financial accounting knowledge including IFRS
Sage , Advanced Excel
Financial control environment with management thereof
Excellent reconciling and issue resolution skills
