Job summary

A leading fintech organization is seeking a Group Head of Compliance to lead compliance strategy across operations in Johannesburg or Cape Town. The role demands over 10 years of experience in compliance functions, a deep understanding of regulatory landscapes, and the ability to implement innovative RegTech solutions. You will work closely with executive management to shape governance frameworks and ensure adherence to regulations while fostering a culture of integrity and ethical compliance. Qualifications

• 10+ years leading Compliance functions, including significant team management experience.
• Prior compliance experience within the Insurance sector.
• Deep practical knowledge of regulatory landscapes relevant to Banking and/or Fintech operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overarching compliance strategy.
• Advise Senior and Executive Management on all compliance matters.
• Lead the design and implementation of the Group’s Risk Management and Compliance Program.
• Mentor and develop the 1st Line Compliance team.
• Act as the primary liaison with key regulatory bodies.
• Oversee compliance reports to Executive Management.
• Champion the Group’s ethics and whistleblowing programs.
• Evaluate and integrate RegTech solutions.
• Drive compliance training programs.
