Responsibilities

• Transportation Coordination: Organizing and overseeing the movement of goods including selecting appropriate modes of transport, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments.
• Route Optimization: Utilizing software and data analysis to find the most efficient and cost-effective routes for transportation.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collecting and analysing data related to logistics operations and preparing reports for management to identify areas for improvement.
• Relationship Management: Building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders.
• Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving issues that arise during the transportation process such as delays, damage, or discrepancies.
• Compliance: Ensuring all logistics activities comply with relevant regulations and safety standards.
