Job summary

A prestigious university in Cape Town is seeking an experienced FOH Concierge to ensure the smooth operation of the Concierge department. The role involves supervising bell staff, providing accurate information to guests, and handling requests in a professional manner. Qualifications

  • 2-3 years in a similar position in comparable hotels.
  • Graduates from reputed hotel management schools.
  • Valid PDP Drivers License.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise bell staff for smooth guest arrivals and departures.
  • Provide accurate information and fulfill guest requests.
  • Take and manage messages for in-house guests.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail packages and faxes.
  • Stay informed on city activities to assist guests.
  • Maintain Concierge Desk and storage areas properly.
  • Work closely with Valet Parking and bell staff.
  • Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Proficiency in Front Office tasks

Ability to operate computer systems (Microsoft Office & Amadeus)
