Job summary

A large mining company in Northern Cape is looking for an experienced Fitter for shaft and winder operations. The role involves performing asset care activities, ensuring accurate data capture, and providing timely feedback to stakeholders. Candidates must possess a Grade 12 Certificate, a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter, and have 3–5 years of relevant experience in heavy industry within the mining sector. A valid Code B/EB driver’s license is also required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' post-apprenticeship experience as a Fitter in heavy industrial, preferably within mining.
• Relevant winder and ropes training required.
• Must hold a valid Code B/EB driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system.
• Ensure accurate and timely feedback and documentation to stakeholders.
• Check for accuracy and capture data.

Calling all Fitters with wonder experience! A large Mining Company based in the Northern Cape, has a challenging opportunity for an experienced Fitter : Shaft and Winder. The role will be to perform asset care activities as required to EAMS system including accurate and timeous feedback and documentation to all stakeholders. Obtain information, check for accuracy and capture data. File documents per procedure

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements :

• Certificate : Grade 12
• Certificate Trade Test – Fitter
• Relevant winder and ropes training
• Valid Code B / EB Driver’s License
• Must obtain symbol B at the Dover Assessment
• 3 – 5 Years’ post apprenticeship as a Fitter on Winders in heavy industrial within a mining environment
