Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate fire protection technicians, installers, and contractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project execution.
• Perform on-site inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks to optimize system performance and compliance.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of fire protection equipment, sprinklers, pumps, suppression systems, and spare parts.
• Conduct fire safety inspections, compliance checks, and routine maintenance on installed systems.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress, compliance, and risk management reports to management.
• Stay updated with the latest fire protection technology, building codes, NFPA / SANS standards, and safety regulations.

Candidate Requirements

• 23 years experience in the fire protection, fire systems installation, or fire safety industry.
• N3 Plumbing or Electrical qualification.
• Knowledge of fire protection systems including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, fire pumps, suppression systems, and electrical motors.
• Understanding of local building regulations, SANS fire codes, and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams on-site.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple project / job sites.
