Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate fire protection technicians, installers, and contractors to ensure timely, safe, and high-quality project execution.
- Perform on-site inspections, risk assessments, and safety checks to optimize system performance and compliance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of fire protection equipment, sprinklers, pumps, suppression systems, and spare parts.
- Conduct fire safety inspections, compliance checks, and routine maintenance on installed systems.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit detailed progress, compliance, and risk management reports to management.
- Stay updated with the latest fire protection technology, building codes, NFPA / SANS standards, and safety regulations.
Candidate Requirements
- 23 years experience in the fire protection, fire systems installation, or fire safety industry.
- N3 Plumbing or Electrical qualification.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems including fire sprinklers, fire alarms, fire pumps, suppression systems, and electrical motors.
- Understanding of local building regulations, SANS fire codes, and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead teams on-site.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making abilities.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple project / job sites.
