Job description

SA - Gauteng, Germiston Financial Manager

Based in Germiston

The basic salary band is R70k – R80k a month. There is a discretionary bonus based on company performance targets per financial year. 20 days leave per annum. Once permanent, medical aid is compulsory and we pay 50% if the person joins our medical, otherwise they need to submit proof of being on a full medical aid. Once permanent, pension fund is compulsory. Employee contributes 7.5%. The company contributes 10% which includes pension, life, disability, funeral, spousal cover.

Minimum requirements: EE will be given preference. This individual will work Monday – Thursday 8h00-16h30 and Friday 8h00 – 15h30.

As per our policy, it will initially be a 3-month fixed-term probationary contract after which it may become a permanent contract if the candidate is successful. This is however, a vacancy for a permanent position.

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

Direct Reports: Creditors, Debtors. Financial Accountant, Cost Accountant

Qualifications and Experience/Knowledge required:

• Advanced level excel skills
• Forex knowledge and understanding
• Regulated pharmaceutical environment exposure (advantageous)
• ERP system experience. (Embrace experience will be advantageous)
