Position Summary

The Controller will oversee all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the agency's growth and operational efficiency. This role requires a deep understanding of the unique financial needs of a marketing and technology agency, including project-based accounting and revenue recognition. High-end English proficiency is essential for this role, as it involves communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting:
   • Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
   • Ensure accuracy and integrity in all financial reporting.
   • Provide detailed analysis and commentary on financial results.
2. Accounting Operations:
   • Manage all aspects of the accounting functions, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Expense Processing, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
   • Oversee the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, and report variances.
3. Project Accounting:
   • Oversee project-based accounting to ensure accurate tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability.
   • Work closely with project managers to provide financial insights and support for client engagements.
4. Internal Controls:
   • Maintain and iterate/improve robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
   • Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
5. Tax Compliance:
   • Manage and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
   • Coordinate and oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns in conjunction with 3rd party.
6. Financial Analysis and Strategy:
   • Provide strategic financial insights to senior management to support business decisions.
   • Conduct financial analysis and modeling for potential investments, pricing strategies, and other strategic initiatives.
   • Ensure continuous improvement in financial processes and systems.
7. System Management:
   • Oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of financial systems and accounting process.
   • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data across all systems.

Qualifications
