We are looking for a meticulous and hands-on Financial Manager to oversee day-to-day

financial operations within a mining and mineral beneficiation company. This role

focuses on financial control, project cost management, balance sheet integrity, and

supporting executive decision-making through detailed financial reporting and analysis.

Position details:

Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger accuracy, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounts, and month-end/year-end closings.
• Oversee financial provisions such as royalties, commissions, and employee benefits.
• Support cost management for capital and operational projects, provide financial analysis, and assist in budgeting and forecasting.

Key Skills:

• Strong knowledge of IFRS for SMEs (IFRS beneficial), advanced Excel skills, hands-on experience in accounting for royalties and commissions, and familiarity with Xero.

Minimum Requirements:

• CA(SA) preferred; CIMA or similar qualifications will be considered
• 3-5 years post-qualification in a senior financial role
• Experience in mining, mineral processing, or heavy industry sectors
• Advanced Excel, Xero experience preferred, and a strong understanding of IFRS for
• SMEs
• Bilingual in Afrikaans & English (speak, read, write.)
