Job Description

A dynamic and rapidly expanding renewable energy company is seeking an exceptional Finance Manager to join the team on a fixed-term maternity contract for 6 - 7 months. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full finance function within a purpose-driven, high-growth environment.

Responsibilities

Working with the support of a junior bookkeeper, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the finance function, including but not limited to:

• Full invoicing and revenue management
• Credit control and debt collection
• Monthly management accounts and reporting
• Covenant monitoring and reporting
• Management of the annual audit process
• Preparation and review of annual financial statements
• Liaison with external auditors and advisors
• Payroll and assistance with HR
• Statutory compliance and tax submissions, including VAT, PAYE, DWT, and Income Tax
• Treasury management and cashflow
• Budgeting
• Insurance renewals

Requirements

• Relevant degree in Accounting or Financial Management
• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar finance management role
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on operational experience
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the finance function
• Experience with Financial Modelling would be advantageous
• Knowledge of Sage Online and Sage Payroll would be beneficial
