About the job Finance Administrator (Engineering)

Our client an engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join their Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) as a Finance Clerk. The EPMO plays a pivotal role in maintaining project management standards and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. As a Financial Clerk, you will be an integral part of our finance team, assisting in various financial tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of our financial processes. Area: Roodepoort, Johannesburg.

Requirements
  • 5 -10 years experience in Finance
  • Construction/Consulting Engineers experience is a bonus
  • Previous experience in financial administration within an organization.
  • A financial qualification would be preferred.
  • Diligence and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, follow instructions, and see tasks through to completion.
Responsibilities
  • Financial administration, including reviewing Purchase Orders, following up with clients on outstanding invoices, reviewing expense claims, and examining remittance documentation.
  • Accurate data entry of financial information into our systems.
  • Assisting with invoice processing and tracking.
  • Maintaining financial records and documentation.
  • Supporting communication related to financial matters.
  • Ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
  • Providing general administrative support to the EPMO team.
