Job summary

A reputable university is seeking a FAW Truck Mechanic to diagnose, service, repair, and maintain FAW trucks. The role requires a minimum of 3–5 years of experience with heavy-duty trucks and strong knowledge of diesel engines and air brake systems. Responsibilities also include ensuring compliance with safety and manufacturer standards, with opportunities for overtime. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. A valid Code 10 or Code 14 driver’s license is advantageous.

We are currently looking for a FAW Truck Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic who will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining FAW trucks to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with manufacturer and company standards.

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience working on heavy-duty trucks
  • Proven experience specifically on FAW trucks (advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and truck electronics
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
