A leading diamond mining operation in South Africa is seeking an Execution Engineer to manage the implementation of infrastructure for the Underground Expansion Project. This role involves oversight of site engineering and construction resources, providing technical support, and ensuring project controls are in place. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in engineering, along with experience in large mining projects and a relevant government competency certificate. Strong leadership skills and analytical abilities are essential for the position.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Reporting directly to the Project Manager and indirectly to the Engineering Manager, the Execution Engineer will be responsible for managing the implementation of infrastructure and procurement of the Underground Expansion Project. In addition, the incumbent will take legal responsibility for men and machinery in the section and manage this area to obtain optimum machine, underground equipment performance, and engineering availability as well as achieve project deliverables.
