Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Gauteng is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to design and govern enterprise-wide ICT architecture. The role requires a degree in ICT or related field and at least five years of Enterprise Architecture experience, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification. Responsibilities include defining business processes and ensuring data security within alignment to recognized frameworks. Qualifications

Job description

We are recruiting for an Enterprise Architect role, based in Gauteng. The incumbent will be expected to design and govern enterprise-wide ICT architecture aligned to business strategy and cloud-first principles.

Responsibilities

• Business Architecture: Define and structure the organisation’s business processes, functions, capabilities, and strategies
• Information Architecture: Organise and manage the organisation’s data and information assets to ensure they are accurate, accessible, and secure
• Application Architecture: Define the structure and interaction of software applications that support business processes
• Technology Architecture: Establish the technical infrastructure that supports applications and business processes
• Security Architecture: Protect the organisation’s assets, data, and infrastructure from security threats
• Governance and Standards: Define the rules, processes, and standards that guide decision-making and ensure consistency across the above architecture elements
• Alignment to recognised Enterprise Architecture frameworks e.g. TOGAF.

Minimum qualifications and certifications

• Degree in ICT, Computer Sciences, or related field
• Must have Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect certification or equivalent (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 5 years experience in Enterprise Architecture
• Experience with ERP platforms and cloud infrastructure design.
