Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair EVs and HEVs (EVs / HEVs).
- Work on high-voltage battery systems, electric motors, and charging infrastructure.
- Utilize specialized diagnostic tools and software for EV systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and software updates for EV components.
- Adhere to strict high-voltage safety procedures.
- Stay updated with evolving EV technology and manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational training or a degree in automotive technology, with specialized training in EV / HEV systems.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certifications for EV / HEV, manufacturer-specific training).
- Experience working on high-voltage electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of electrical circuits, battery technology, and power electronics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software specific to EVs.
- Adherence to strict safety protocols for high-voltage systems.
- Valid driver's license.
