Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy in Durban is seeking an experienced electrical engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 10-12 years of experience in heavy industry. Candidates must be registered with ECSA and proficient in CAD and DigSilent Powerfactory software. This role involves travel within and outside South Africa and requires a valid driver’s license. A competitive salary package of R800,000.00 per annum is being offered.

• Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist.


• 10-12 years of experience in the heavy Industry, power generation and power system engineering within a consultancy, engineering services company.


• Proficient in specialist engineering simulation, like CAD and DigSilent Powerfactory software.


• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.


• Prepared to travel within and outside the RSA borders.


• Must have a valid driver’s license.
