We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Draughtsperson with strong experience in HVAC/R control and electrical system design. The role focuses on producing accurate electrical wiring diagrams, control schematics, and panel layouts for refrigeration and HVAC systems, ensuring compliance, manufacturability, and high design standards.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (technical subjects advantageous)
• Draughting Diploma / Certificate (essential)
• N4 Electrical (minimum)
• Exposure to 3D design software (Solid Edge / Revit advantageous)

Experience

• 2–4 years’ electrical drafting experience, preferably in HVAC/R, industrial automation, or machine control
• Proven experience producing wiring diagrams, control circuits, and panel documentation
• Exposure to PLC-based and HVAC/R controllers (Carel, Eliwell, Danfoss, Emerson, etc.)

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD & AutoCAD Electrical (essential)
• Electrical control circuit and wiring diagram design for HVAC/R systems
• Understanding of refrigeration control logic (defrost, pump-down, compressors, EC fans)
• Panel layout design, termination diagrams, and BOM preparation
