Summary
The E-Commerce Business Development Specialist is responsible for driving online sales growth and strengthening digital capabilities within a consultant-based sales network. The role requires expertise in e-commerce platforms, social media, and digital sales strategies, coupled with the ability to inspire, lead, and expand the consultant base for long-term sustainable growth in the online channel.
Responsibilities
E-Commerce & Digital Growth
- Develop and enhance the e-commerce and social media capabilities of the consultant base.
- Innovate, design, and implement market-leading e-commerce sales strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
- Drive the achievement of e-commerce sales metrics aligned to growth objectives.
Recruitment & Conversion
- Inspire and cultivate sustained recruitment and growth of new consultants actively selling online.
- Develop strategies to maximise conversion rates of online customers into active sales consultants.
- Increase total online sales across the consultant base.
Leadership & Training
- Provide inspirational and pragmatic leadership to build and grow the online sales network.
- Develop and deliver advanced training methods for consultants on building a scalable online sales network.
- Support consultants with tools, strategies, and mentorship to strengthen online sales performance.
Position Info
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (a Diploma in Marketing and / or Sales will be advantageous).
- Proven track record of experience in growing sales networks in a similar role.
- Extensive working knowledge of e-commerce and social media platforms.
- Strong background in online sales and social media marketing.
- Valid driver’s license.
