Our client has an opportunity available for a Drawing Office Manager.

Requirements :

• Diploma or tertiary qualification as a Draughtsperson.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in the boiler, structural, and high-pressure piping design and construction environment.
• Experience with 3D scanning, registration, modelling, and simulation.
• Advanced proficiency in software related to CAD, 3D scanning, 3D modelling, 3D simulations, and 2D fabrication drawings within the boiler generation industry.
• Proficient in Autodesk suite of design tools, Cadworx, Inventor, Navisworks, NX, Scene, or similar software.

Responsibilities :

• Training and development to ensure team growth and capability, aligned with the latest technological trends.
• Ensuring quality and accuracy in draughting and modelling.
• People management and leadership to maintain team capability, capacity, and growth, including recruitment as per business needs.
• Supporting the General Manager for Engineering in achieving company strategy.
• Project management to ensure drawing output meets project objectives.
• Estimating man-hours and structuring the draughting portion of projects to support engineering requirements.
• Managing internal and external customer relationships.
