A leading recruitment agency in South Africa is seeking a Doctor Detailing Sales Representative to educate doctors on specific products and implement marketing strategies effectively. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in a medical field such as Biokinetics or Physiotherapy, alongside competencies in data analysis and effective communication. Candidates must demonstrate robust client relationship management skills and a proactive sales strategy approach. This role demands frequent customer interaction and the achievement of clear sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Must be computer literate and possess a basic understanding of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Educate doctors on specific products using clinical evidence.
  • Achieve a minimum of 75% daily appointment ratio.
  • Conduct visits to 90% of customers every cycle of 6 weeks.
  • Analyze customer data using Power BI.

About the job Doctor Detailing Sales Representative

Purpose:

Responsible for educating scripting doctors on specific products. Displace the competitors using clinical evidence on the company's products. Implement the marketing strategy on the brand. Make appointments, and call timeously on the relevant Doctors' .Increase the company's product market shares. Work closely with the sales counterpart to ensure stock availability.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Daily appointment ratio of 75% or more
  • Customer split (specialist and GP split)
  • Visit 90% of customers every cycle (6 weeks)
  • Grade customers (80% of customers either (A most important Drs or B second most important or C additional Drs ))
  • Day trips cannot exceed 120km radius
  • Regular updates on products
  • Achieve 85%minimum on product assessments.
  • Continuous training on the company's products.
  • Complete weekly planners, expenses, plan country trips.
  • Daily completion of calls with comments on repwise.
  • Other adhoc smart sheets and reports.
  • Analyse data on power BI and define plans per customer.
  • Script target achieved for each product
  • Achieve strategy for the brand, Eg, Number 1 prescribed in its category.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelors degree within the medical field E.g., Biokinetics, Physiotherapy or other.
  • Computer Literate
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office
