Job Summary: Hire Resolve’s Client are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their mining operation in Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a fleet of heavy-duty diesel vehicles and equipment used in our mining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mining equipment maintenance and repair, as well as a solid understanding of diesel engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel vehicles and mining equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on all equipment
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and regulations
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
• Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and equipment
• Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics

Qualifications

• Trade Certificate in Diesel Mechanics and Grade 12
