Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve desktop, network, printer and IT device issues.
  • Perform regular system backups, updates and preventive maintenance.
  • Install, configure and update operating systems, drivers and business applications.
  • Build and upgrade PCs, replace components and maintain hardware reliability.
  • Provide support for video conferencing systems, end‑user accounts and plant IT operations.
  • Maintain an accurate IT asset register and ensure compliance with security standards.
  • Monitor and document Helpdesk and network incidents, generating IT reports.
  • Perform adhoc IT activities to ensure secure and efficient business operations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education : Matric(Grade12).
  • Qualifications : FET Certificate in PC Support, PC Engineering IT : Technical Support or NC : IT Systems Support (NQF Level 46).
  • Certifications : CompTIA A+ and N(required).
  • Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) - advantageous.
  • CompTIA Security - advantageous.
  • Basic PLC knowledge - advantageous.
Experience & Skills
  • At least 3 years relevant IT support experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, Windows10 operating systems and Microsoft365.
  • Hands‑on experience with Active Directory administration.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, overtime and stand‑by as required.
  • Ability to successfully complete a practical IT competency test during selection.
