A reputable Dental Laboratory in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, is looking for an experienced Registered Dental Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 8–10 years of experience, be registered with the SADTC, and be able to provide a portfolio of previous work. Responsibilities include CAD/CAM design, producing high-quality dental work, and collaborating with colleagues. This full-time position offers a salary of R30 000 per month, with working hours from Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays.

Job description

A reputable Dental Laboratory in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dental Technician to join their dynamic team.
This full-time position requires a technician with strong technical ability, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work.

The ideal candidate must have 8–10 years of experience, be registered with the SADTC, and be able to provide a portfolio of previous cases to demonstrate work quality.

Minimum Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience as a Dental Technician
• Registration with the council (SADTC)
• A portfolio of previous cases to showcase workmanship
• Strong communication skills

Proficiency in

• CAD/CAM design and milling
• Characterisation of crowns, bridges, and long-span bridges
• Staining and glazing
• Wax-up, burnout, and press furnacing
• Cutback and layering techniques
• Basic lab work including occlusal guards and dentures

Working Hours: Monday to Friday: 08:00 to 16:30 & Alternate Saturdays: 08:15 to 12:30
Remuneration: R30 000 per month (Final offer may depend on experience and work quality.)
Start Date: Preferably January/New Year start
