Job summary

A prominent dental surgery in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Dental Technician to design complex dental procedures and fabricate prosthetics. The ideal candidate will have a Dental Technician Qualification, 2-5 years of experience, and proficiency in CAD/CAM and EXOCAD. This full-time role offers Monday to Friday working hours from 08h00 to 17h00, with Saturday mornings included.

Qualifications

• Active HPCSA registration required.
• Experience in Digital Smile Design (DSD) or similar tools essential.

Overview

Dental Technician - Johannesburg

Our client, a high-tech dental surgery based in Johannesburg, is seeking to recruit an experienced Dental Technician.

Responsibilities

• Design high-level procedures, particularly those involving implants, digital smile designs and other complex dental work
• Ability to assist the clinician with a variety of dental procedures including general and specialised care
• Use moulds, digital impressions and other measurements to create dental prosthetics that fit the patients mouth and meet their specific requirements
• Fabricate dental prosthetics using a variety of materials
• Adjust, repair and modify dental prosthetics as needed
• Maintain dental laboratory equipment and keep the work area clean and organised
• Keep accurate records
• Stay up to date with advances in dental technology and materials

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 5 years experience
• Dental Technician Qualification
• Active HPCSA registration
• Experience in CAD/CAM and EXOCAD is essential
• Experience in Digital Smile Design (DSD) or similar tools is essential
• Experience in Nemotech software will be advantageous
• Cosmetic dentistry experience will be advantageous
