Job summary

A leading recruitment agency seeks an experienced individual to contribute to the design and development of new applications within the Data and Analytics environment. The ideal candidate must possess at least 6 years of experience in systems analysis and a relevant tertiary qualification. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements and providing input for solution design. Candidates should also be skilled in SQL Server and familiar with cloud technologies, particularly AWS.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years proven experience within management information systems / systems analysis.
• Experience with cloud environments, especially AWS Technologies.
• Participation in PBT Graduate Programme / Data Engineering upskilling.

Job description

Overview

To contribute to the design and development of new applications / systems to meet the business requirements of the Data and Analytics (D&A) environment.

To analyse business or system requirements and data to enhance understanding of the D&A environment.

To participate in and provide input to the Architect during the compilation of solution design documentation for new and existing D&A products and systems.

Minimum

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Data Analysis
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology - Computer Science or Data Analysis
• At least 6 years proven experience within management information systems / systems analysis together with a relevant 3 year tertiary qualification
• At least 6 - 8 years proven experience within management information systems / system analysis
• SQL Server and / or business intelligence tools (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• Data Warehousing
• Data Management Lifecycle
• Python and/or Open Source development tools
• Cloud Environment
• Experience working in an AWS environment as well as with AWS Technologies
