Job description

To plan, design, and implement scalable and robust data models and physical data models, ensuring effective movement, collection, integration, storage, and provisioning of data to meet business objectives through a sound understanding of business unit requirements and frequent collaboration with relevant stakeholders (such as Enterprise Architecture, Database and Solution Architects, Business Intelligence Developers, Data Scientists, and Product Owners).

Are you someone who can:

• Work with the team and stakeholders to continually assess and redefine the data technology stack to support changing data patterns and business use cases, bridging gaps between Data Engineering, Business, and Product by collaborating to understand data needs.
• Take ownership of data delivery end-to-end for specific business use cases, and set and manage SLAs (Service Level Agreements).
• Work closely with Data Head/Manager and the Data Architect to meet relevant business objectives and ensure the delivery of effective solutions.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Create change scripts and setup scripts for production implementation.
• Design requirements and the technical architecture, including development, testing, and deployment of solutions.
• Present technology solutions to senior leadership and influence architectures that will transform our data analytics platform.
• Design, implement, quality assure, and deploy ETL transformations to enhance the Data Ecosystem and workflows that load, analyze, and archive customer transactional data.
• Train relevant employees on accessing and utilizing the Data Ecosystem effectively.
• Design, build, and evolve custom ETL processes for feeding consumer systems.
• Acquire and collect data via ETL processes from source systems into the Reservoir and Enterprise Data Warehouse, adhering to platform standards.
• Integrate data from multiple sources through the enterprise data platform architecture to meet business objectives.
• Develop and maintain physical data marts and databases.

• BSc in Computer Science, Informatics, or Data Science.
• 7+ years of experience in a data analytics role.
• Experience working with Ab initio ETL graphs, Teradata, or SAS.
