Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant to join our enterprise consulting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex business requirements, configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions, and leading large-scale ERP implementations for enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze complex enterprise business processes and requirements across multiple functional areas
- Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations to meet enterprise business needs
- Lead large-scale F&O implementation projects from requirements gathering to go-live
- Design and document comprehensive business process flows and system configurations
- Conduct executive-level system demonstrations and stakeholder presentations
- Provide functional expertise in core F&O modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, HR)
- Create and maintain detailed functional specifications and process documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to define complex customization and integration requirements
- Lead data migration strategy, analysis, and mapping for enterprise-scale implementations
- Conduct comprehensive user acceptance testing and system validation
- Provide change management support and organizational readiness assessment
- Deliver end-user training programs and create training curricula
- Stay current with F&O updates, new functionality, and industry best practices
Required Skills & Experience
- F&O Platform: 4+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation and configuration
- Enterprise ERP: Strong understanding of enterprise-level ERP business processes and governance
- Functional Expertise: Deep knowledge in Finance (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting), Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
- Project Leadership: Experience leading or managing full-cycle enterprise ERP implementations
- Business Analysis: Proven ability to gather complex requirements and translate them into scalable system configurations
- Stakeholder Management: Experience managing relationships with C-level executives and department heads
- Training & Change Management: Experience designing and delivering enterprise training programs
- Process Optimization: Strong analytical skills for business process reengineering and optimization
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Functional Consultant certifications (MB-300, MB-310, MB-320, MB-330)
- Experience with additional modules (Human Resources, Retail, Project Operations)
- Knowledge of enterprise data migration strategies and tools
- Understanding of complex integration patterns and enterprise architecture
- Experience with Power Platform and advanced analytics integration
- Previous enterprise consulting or Big 4 consulting experience
- Industry-specific experience (Manufacturing, Retail, Professional Services, Public Sector)
- Knowledge of international compliance and regulatory requirements
- Experience with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and ALM processes
