A community care organization in Upington is seeking a part-time Community Support Worker to provide essential care to elderly individuals in their homes. Responsibilities include personal care, meal preparation, and offering companionship. The ideal candidate should possess a caring nature and have experience or a desire to work in aged care. Our Community Support Workers have the rewarding role of caring for elderly people in their homes, enabling their overall independence.
This a part time permanent role located in Upper North East, suburbs include: Ashby, Banskia Grove, Currambine, Joondalup etc
Availability required between 9.00am to 5.00pm
Your day-to-day workload will be varied from providing personal care (showering, dressing, hygiene), meal preparation and domestic duties, social support, shopping assistance, transport, and pet care. Additional responsibilities can include fitting and removal of pressure stockings, respite and assisting with medication.
A caring nature, comfortable of driving and transporting clients and working on your own.
You either have experience working in aged care, community or experience in caring responsibilities. Perhaps you would like a career change in helping our elderly community – Traineeships are available! *Eligibility applies*
