Are you a seasoned commercial property professional seeking a new challenge? Our client, a boutique commercial property investment management and services company with a substantial asset base exceeding R600 million, specializes in in-house commercial property management and letting. With a diverse portfolio focused on retail and office properties, they are looking for an exceptional Property Manager to join their small, dedicated team in Pretoria.

As the sole Property Manager for the entire portfolio, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the value of properties located in Pretoria East. This hands‑on position requires frequent site visits and close collaboration with the Accountant and Operations Manager. You will report directly to the Financial Manager and the CEO, who will rely on you to be the face of the company to all stakeholders on property sites.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with tenants and service providers.
  • Handling all marketing and leasing within the portfolio.
  • Minimising vacancies within the buildings.
  • Leading the leasing execution program with proactive sourcing of new tenants.
  • Managing the budget and overall portfolio performance to meet and exceed financial targets.
  • Overseeing tenant installations.
  • Conducting regular inspections and supervising property maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in preferably retail property management and will be prepared to ‘roll up their sleeves’ to tackle any problem, in an environment where team work is key. Of course, exceptional written & verbal communication skills are pivotal in property management, as is fluency in both English and Afrikaans in this instance. MDA experience is beneficial but not necessarily required, but you MUST reside in Pretoria if you are considering applying.
