Job description: My Client is hiring a Client Relationship Officer. You will report directly to the Client Relationship Manager. The CRO plays a pivotal role in communication with the clients and the flow of certification.

Your tasks You will be responsible for carrying out the following duties:

  • Manage client communication for the organic certification service in Southern and/or East Africa countries.
  • Ensuring smooth certification flow for all clients
  • Assisting with all client inquiries and answering basic questions with regard to certification
  • Following up on non‑compliance resolution after audits
  • Preparing and issuing renewal quotations
  • Answering of business telephone enquiries by clients
Profile
  • Tertiary degree or diploma in business, agriculture, or a client service‑related qualification
  • Relevant job experience will be advantageous but is not a requirement
  • High level of computer literacy – confident MS Office user
  • Excellent English and Afrikaans spoken and written competency with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self‑confident, willing to learn, and organized to the point of perfectionism
  • An interest and/or experience in sustainable farming and/or certification would be beneficial
