This role involves providing administrative support within the Medical Aid department, processing claims and hospital authorisations, and maintaining CRM records. The ideal candidate must have a Matric/Grade 12 and 3 years of administrative experience, preferably in the insurance industry. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for delivering accurate and timely service.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ work experience in an administrative position.
  • Experience in the Insurance industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Administrative duties relating to insurance and medical schemes, including claims and queries.
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Services Division.
  • Process and monitor claims.
  • General client services and capturing of data.
  • Maintain the CRM database.

Job Summary

This role provides administrative support within the Medical Aid department, focusing on claims processing, hospital authorisations, client queries, and data capturing. The position involves regular liaison with clients and brokers, maintenance of CRM records, and ensuring accurate, timely service delivery.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Administrative duties relating to insurance and medical schemes, including claims, queries and Hospital Authorisation
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Financial Services Division, including preparing documents, and processing correspondence
  • Process and monitoring claims
  • General client services and capturing of data
  • Constant liaison with client/brokers and logging of communication
  • Maintain the CRM database
Qualifications and Skills
  • Matric / Grade 12
  • 3 years’ work experience in an administrative position
  • Experience in the Insurance industry (advantageous)
  • Computer literate (proficiency in Excel, CMR software and Microsoft Office suite)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Deadline driven, good organising and planning skills
  • Hard working, conscientious and energetic
