Role Description: Cleaner (Dental Practice) – Location: Windsor Salford, Manchester – Hours: 10 hours per week. Responsibilities

• Cleaning of designated areas
• Work to the cleaning standards of a dental practice
• Follow Health & Safety, COSHH and all relevant and new regulations
• Maintain full accurate cleaning records – daily, weekly, monthly, six‑monthly and annually
• Understand and implement the National Standards of Healthcare Cleanliness 2007 and 2021 and the National Colour Coding Scheme
• Work to Infection Control measures
• Take care of the cleaning equipment
• Understand and assure Personal Protective Equipment usage
• Use and handle electrical equipment
• Responsibility for lone worker policy and risk assessment
• Waste management (excluding handling hazardous or sharp waste)
• Understand confidentiality
• Carry out any other reasonable management requests

Key skills & experience

• Previous cleaning experience in a similar role
• Understanding of COSHH regulations is desirable
• High attention to detail
• Reliable with excellent timekeeping
• Ability to work independently
• Requirement to achieve client vetting clearance for the role
