Job Description

As a Junior Chartered Accountant, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the company. You will be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, tax compliance, internal controls, and audits while working closely with senior members of the finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with some experience in accounting who is looking to further develop their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements
  • Support the monthly and yearly financial closing process
  • Ensure compliance with tax and accounting regulations
  • Help prepare tax returns and supporting documentation
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and potential issues
  • Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial matters
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent)
  • Completed or in progress toward obtaining the CA qualification
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
