Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement control and instrumentation systems for industrial plants.
- Program, configure, and maintain automation systems including PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI platforms .
- Conduct instrumentation calibration, testing, and commissioning.
- Troubleshoot and optimize control loops, process automation systems, and field instrumentation.
- Work closely with process, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integrated solutions.
- Prepare and maintain system documentation, manuals, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements .
- Participate in projects from conceptual design to commissioning and handover.
- Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Degree / National Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering .
- 35+ years experience in C&I and industrial automation within process or plant environments.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, ABB), SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems .
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, Ethernet / IP, OPC).
- Experience in instrumentation design, calibration, and maintenance .
- Knowledge of safety standards, HSE regulations, and electrical / instrumentation codes .
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with engineering software (AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar) is advantageous.
