About the Role

The Hybrid Account Manager is responsible for driving new business, as well as expanding and retaining revenue across LexisNexis solution lines. This role focuses on identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and delivering a positive and consistent customer experience. You will collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to support sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively identify, qualify, and close new, upsell, and cross‑sell opportunities.
  • Develop and execute a clear sales strategy for your territory.
  • Build a strong pipeline and maintain accurate forecasting using CRM tools.
  • Conduct regular reviews of your sales strategy and progress.
  • Lead deal negotiations and manage the full sales cycle.
  • Achieve annual revenue and performance targets for your business unit.
  • Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key decision‑makers.
  • Conduct regular meetings to understand customer goals and align solutions to their needs.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and ensure seamless communication across teams.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve customer loyalty and product adoption.
  • Use CRM tools to manage customer data and provide actionable insights.
  • Partner with account management and other teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience.
  • Contribute to customer retention by identifying growth opportunities and potential risks.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date CRM records, including opportunity status and pipeline details.
  • Participate in weekly planning, review sessions, and team activities to support continuous improvement.
  • Apply product and industry knowledge to help customers make informed decisions.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in sales, preferably in software or technology environments.
  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience using CRM and sales‑enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, Seismic, Gong, or similar).
  • Ability to present effectively both in person and online.
  • Strong critical‑thinking, planning, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience using AI‑based tools to improve efficiency.
  • Familiarity with hybrid or field‑based selling environments.
  • li>Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams.
