Introduction

This role primarily focuses on training. Developing and preparing training content as per category of training. Contribute to the learning development

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Conduct Theory & Practical Training (Online & Classroom) as per the Training Calendar for new and existing Sorbet citizens
  • Timeous marking of theoretical assessments after training completed and results captured into Teams.
  • Regular scheduling of Talk Shows in region / stores allocated.
  • Guidance and support offered to allocated AM's and FP's
  • Design and implementation of in-house training and coaching sessions
  • Updating of theoretical assessments and corresponding memorandums relevant to training manuals, overseeing all existing material.
  • Responsible for the organization and implementation of education support’ for the Citizens as well as Educators
  • Participate in Train-The-Trainer to up-skill trainers as per business needs.
  • Research of upcoming trends in the industry & implementation into training, overseeing all educators are incorporating trends and techniques to training aligned with the Sorbet way.
  • Support The Sorbet Academy by offering and presenting Career / Self Branding presentations.
  • Support The Sorbet Academy by assessing learners as required who apply for RPL.
  • Create and roll out of training programs aligned with the Academy for RPL
  • Learning and adapting the course curriculum.
  • Implement the education policies and procedures (i.e. staff appearance, adherence to work hours, teaching techniques etc for country/region education facilities).
  • Ensure students are correctly enrolled with the college and awarding bodies.
  • Maintain course records, and plan schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment plans.
  • Act as internal verifier in line with college policy and liaise with external verifiers.
  • Pay due attention to the principles of effective learning such as developments, learning styles, equality of opportunity, differentiation, and support for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities.
  • Maintain records of progress and co-ordinate reporting to interested parties.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and learning resources.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of developments in the relevant subject/course.
  • Participate, as a team member, in the development of teaching methods and strategies towards an ethos of continuing improvement
  • Carry out Quality Assurance and Self-Assessment procedures in line with The Sorbet Academy's Quality Policy
  • Provide monthly feedback reports including financial tacking of student fees and expenses.
  • Attend all departmental meetings.
  • Respond to emails within a 48-hour time frame.
  • Detailed stock takes to be conducted as per the department calendar.
  • Testing and reviewing of new product launches.
  • Printing of Training Registers, Manuals and Feedback Forms etc.
  • Problem Solving and support FP and GR team in the resolution of complaints.
  • Timeous response to email / telephonic queries (48-hour response time)
  • Willingness to perform other duties assigned by management.
