Overview

Automotive Consumables Sales Representative

Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of abrasives and accessories to the automotive, marine, woodworking, DIY, metal, aeronautical, and composite industries.

They are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Consumables Sales Representative to join their dynamic and positive team.

Responsibilities
  • Selling automotive paint and consumables to meet the customers' needs.
  • Working with hands to do demonstrations on various automotive products.
  • Maintaining the retail sale floor and displays to meet or exceed the dealership\'s standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Controlling showroom inventory to ensure maximum sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Attending training as prescribed by management to maintain proficiency in the job description.
  • Creating purchase orders, receiving purchase orders, and closing invoices for consumables.
  • Visiting assigned and existing customers.
  • Upselling.
  • Prospecting for new customers.
  • Submitting completed call reports, time sheets, and expense reports.
  • Updating customer records to reflect changes to customers\' names, addresses, etc.
  • Adding new customers to appropriate mailing lists.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge in the automotive paint and consumable industry (advantage).
  • Prepared to work with hands to do demonstrations on various automotive products.
