Job Overview

The Senior Specialist : Automation Test Analyst role is a key position in the IT Service Management team, playing a vital part in delivering exceptional customer experiences for the platform.


This role involves working collaboratively across teams to achieve high-quality customer service.


Key responsibilities include driving quality and governance, effective communication, customer service provision, and approach work systematically to ensure excellent results.


Advanced diplomas or national degrees are required qualifications, along with ISTQB certification in Software Testing (foundational) and Safe Agile certification.


At least 5 years of experience in Financial Adviser firms, Financial Services Customer Service, or Investment Platform businesses is also essential.


A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of investment products, financial services regulation, and change management processes.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also necessary, as well as the ability to lead people and teams.


Key Responsibilities


  • Participate in planning, estimation, and sizing of change requests, features, or IT service requests.

  • Delivery of structured and standard-designed quality assurance solutions.

  • Report and manage the resolution of issues timeously.

  • Contribute to retrospective reviews.

  • Work closely with Leads, Developers, Architects, Product Owners, and other Stakeholders.

  • Liaise with stakeholders across the business to build a network aligned with ways of work.

  • Collaborate with the core test team to continuously improve the test regression pack, automation frameworks, and overall platform.
