Role

Assistant Accountant for the VKB Milling division in Reitz. The role focuses on accurate financial processing and analysis to support decision-making within the milling operations.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Balancing and reviewing creditor reconciliations
  • Analyzing expense performance and comparing to budget
  • Assisting with reporting, audits, and financial queries
  • Maintaining petty cash controls and creditor management
  • Supporting the budgeting process
  • Adding value through analysis, problem-solving, and proactive decision-making
What We’re Looking For / Qualifications
  • A relevant BCom degree in Accountancy (or similar)
  • Articles completed (SAIPA/SAICA considered a major bonus)
  • Experience in a fast-moving operational or processing environment
  • Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  • Microsoft Navision/Business Central experience is a plus
