Overview

We are seeking a qualified accountant to join our team on a 3-month contract basis.

Responsibilities

• Complies with tax filing requirements by adhering to these requirements; advising management on required actions; calculating quarterly estimated tax payments; assembling data for quarterly and annual tax filings.
• Gather and monitor financial data
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets, general ledgers and income statements)
• Investigate allocation variances monthly in the general ledger and confirm if the allocations are correct
• Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies
• Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
• Assisting in ensuring all subordinate financial records to check for accuracy
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Review and document deviations from business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Process payments as required

Qualifications
