A leading analytics firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled SOFTWARE DEVELOPER to design and enhance core insurance applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of COBOL and insurance business processes, along with effective communication skills. Responsibilities include developing various modules, performing unit testing, and collaborating with both onshore and offshore teams to meet project deadlines. This position promises a dynamic work environment within the insurance technology sector.
Formación
- Experience in designing and developing insurance applications using COBOL.
- Good understanding of insurance processes and ability to communicate effectively.
- Proven ability to perform unit and system testing.
Responsabilidades
- Design, develop, and enhance Life Asia core insurance applications.
- Customize various modules based on business requirements.
- Perform testing and support production releases.
Conocimientos
We are hiring SOFTWARE DEVELOPER with below requirements;
- Design, develop, and enhance Life Asia core insurance applications using COBOL and Life Asia components.
- Customize policy administration, billing, claims, and underwriting modules based on business needs.
- Analyze functional specifications and convert them into detailed technical designs.
- Perform unit testing, system testing, and support UAT and production releases.
- Investigate and resolve application defects and production issues promptly.
- Work with onshore and offshore teams to deliver projects within timelines.
- Support system integration with upstream and downstream applications.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, security, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in impact analysis for change requests and system enhancements.
- Strong knowledge of insurance business processes and good communication skills required.
