Job description

• Position: Java Frontend Software Engineer
• Location: WFH in SG / Temporary Relocate to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Working hours: 6 Days Work Week - Monday to Friday, 9.00AM to 7.00PM
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Salary Open to Negotiations + OT + AWS + Performance Bonus + 6 Monthly Salary Adjustments + Birthday/Festive/Marriage Allowance + Medical Benefits + Relocation Allowance + Accommodation Allowance (For relocation to KL) + 7-17 Days of Annual Leave + Yearly Travel Allowance

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend technology selection, architecture design, and development standards.
• Design and build scalable web frontend interfaces and integrate with backend services.
• Optimize frontend performance, user experience, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Develop reusable components, conduct code reviews, write unit tests, and maintain documentation.
• Research and introduce modern frontend technologies to continuously improve the platform.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, with solid understanding of web standards and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with modern frameworks (e.g. Vue.js), state management, and CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass).
• Experience with build tools such as Webpack and Vite.
• Good understanding of frontend engineering, modular development, and performance optimisation.
• Working knowledge of Node.js and web frameworks such as Express or Koa.
• Strong team player with good communication skills and a passion for learning new technologies.
• Candidates needs to have mandarin language proficiency to communicate with Mandarin speakingcustomers
